We have just come back as a party of 16 on our first ever tree top experience and let me say we all came out buzzingSam and the other lady were attentive and welcoming. They knew the course inside out and were confident on how to manage a large crowd whilst giving us the best experience. I highly recommend anyone who is contemplating this as its well worth the money and completely safe

Great biking experience! We had a great experience hiring (gravel)bikes from In Your Element Aviemore. The woman at the reception was very friendly and showed us a route along Loch Eileen and Loch Morlich. The bikes (and gears) were in excellent condition, something that is not always the case with rental bikes. The route is beautiful and for us the perfect length and challenge. Highly recommended!

We booked a 2–3 hour canoeing experience, and our guide Rob was fantastic! He was fun, supportive and made everything feel easy, even though the windy weather wasn’t helping. We paddled to a beautiful waterfall and enjoyed a lovely tea break along the way

Tree top climbing at its best!! Ed was amazing and the kids loved every second of this experience! They want to do it again! Safety demonstration was clear and kept the kids engaged the whole time. The zip lines were a highlight. Thank you guys!!

Great Family Day Out We booked (adult and two kids 14 and 10) and completed both courses. Great obstacles and the second course is long and high, well worth the trip.

Exciting and Thrilling The kids loved it. Tough, enjoyable experience . Instructions were clear and instructor was awesome. No rush, sizable crowd, nice ambience at the Loch Shore with plenty to do. Course took over an hour for both obstacle courses. Admission fee reasonable.

Great experience all thanks to the amazing staff. I booked myself and my son on this activity after he was determined to conquer his fear of heights. The instructors were great with him, helped talk him through the tricky aspects of the course and helped build his confidence. Not quite ready for the high course, but we'll definitely be back.

This ropes course is quite challenging compared to some I've been on in the US. The staff are fantastic. When they "rescued" my son (helping him exit midway through), they were not only professional and safe but actively reassuring him which is important when you're about to be lowered 25 ft on a cable.

Tree Zone was erg leuk. We hebben ook een quad tour gedaan. Ook erg leuk om te doen. Het geheel is mooi opgezet en er is van alles te doen.

I can't express how wonderful the team are at Treezone! 🥺 shout out to Andy and Greg who, sadly for them, had to help me the most 🫠😂 (thank you guys! 🥺) they were so incredibly patient and kind with me when I was having a few wobbly moments 🫠 their rapport with every customer, along with their team, was outstanding. I didn't catch the guy's name who helped me at the cargo netting during a very humbling experience 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 thank you also!What an amazing team!!The courses do really challenge you and push you out your comfort zone 🔥 and the community and kindness from other customers who you've never met is really lovely!

I used In Your Element for my 100 person party in Inverness. I hoped we'd have a fun event but I was pleasantly surprised at how all the men and women of my group really loved the Highland Games. The events were different and enjoyable and appropriate for all levels. Would highly recommend!

Leuk (maar prijzig) klimbos Leuk maar klein klimbos in balloch. Het is met een gezin best prijzig (€165!!), maar mag op vakantie natuurlijk niet missen. Bij aankomst netjes ontvangen en uitleg gehad. Het zijn 2 banen die je af kan werken. De banen zelf zijn netjes en afwisselend. De hoogte valt wel mee (heb zelf hoogtevrees!). Je gaat met een groep van ongeveer 10-12 mensen per half uur. Hou er rekening mee dat er dus mensen voor je kunnen zitten die het wat minder goed kunnen of wat spannender vinden. Dan duurt het wat langer. Tussendoor is er bij baan een 1 zipline en bij baan twee zijn er 3 ziplinen. Vonden de kids leuk! Een leuke middag gehad. De jongens die er werken zijn hartstikke vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We deden het als gezin met twee kinderen (7j en 8j). Vorig jaar in Dijon was er een ander parcours met meer uitdaging MAAR de laatste zipline was echt heftig. Kinderen: kon niet beter.

Three generations wanted to do this together 4 of us did both courses -2 of us did the shorter course only. The staff were amazing - encouraging - helpful - took verbal abuse when it was scary - all in good fun. Thanks for a great intergenerational day out.

We rented bikes from them today and went around the forest trails. Andy was helpful and friendly to my little son who was having a tantrum. All staff are nice and helpful.

Our day at Go Wild I attended Go Wild today with my 12 year old daughter- the first time we have ever done something like this and it definitely won’t be the last! We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, the in-depth safety briefing made us feel confident navigating the course. We done both courses today and found them to be the perfect mix of challenge and enjoyment- the final zip line was our favourite! All of the instructors we encountered on the course were super friendly and on hand to help. The new owner is a credit to the business and it sounds like there will be various packages available to combine experiences which we can’t wait for! All in all a fantastic day that my daughter can’t stop talking about! Can’t wait to return.

This is a fantastic watersports centre with great facilities and a beautiful spot on Loch Tay. We were really fortunate to enjoy a canoeing experience - helped by Rachel whose customer service could not have been better. After the disappointment of the weather stopping us taking part in river gorging she pulled out all the stops to ensure we could get out onto the water and have a great time. Clear instructions. Excellent safety provisions. Rachel was especially good at explaining to our young children what they should and shouldn’t do out on the water and then giving them tons of encouragement during the outing. A fabulous afternoon and I would highly recommend using IYE to anyone staying in or around the Loch Tay area. One of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Rachel!

Brig o Turk gorge walk. A fantastic half-day gorge scrambling experience with Aaron and Jan. Super fun, really interesting, and full of laughs from start to finish. Gorge walking at Loch Tay I was camping with my 10 year old granddaughter and we went gorge walking. Our leader was amazing. She was friendly, funny, professional and patient. She made sure we were all okay all the time and made the activity very enjoyable. My granddaughter absolutely loved it

Fantastic Maddie and Andy were superb on our gorge walking experience on the morning of 23rd of my family July Would highly recommend the experience it was awesome fun and the scenery was breathtaking. Our son who is 12 years said it was the highlight of our whole trip. Can’t wait to come back next year and try out the white water rafting. The company start to finish were extremely professional and helpful even when I was phoning to get more info Natalie suggested accommodation which we ended up booking which was also excellent. Can’t fault them would have no hesitation in recommending.

Just brilliant During our stay we done archery, and axe throwing and hired a katakanu to explore loch tay. We all had a great time, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable- would highly recommend.

Alfie from In Your Element took us on an amazing Summit to Sea adventure (booked as part of my 60th birthday trip to Scotland). 2 long days up Cairn Gorm, down to Loch Avon, wild camping and walking out through the Abernethy Forest formed the hiking element. We then boarded our Canadian canoes and followed the Spey to the sea. Amazing wild campsites hidden in the forest or on river islands, 3 course meals (haggis, neeps and tatties and camp banoffee pie were the highlights for me!), great conversations with the rest of the group, and the occasional swim as we found some inconvenient rocks... All with Alfie's great teaching, encouragement and sense of humour. Thoroughly recommended. Phil & Deborah Horton.

Whitewater rafting on River Garry Wonderful afternoon rafting twice down the River Garry. Max and Rob, very professional, ensured complete safety and tremendous fun. Very good thick wetsuits, so we stayed warm despite many deliberate drenchings. We had no prior experience and thoroughly enjoyed the whole time.

An unforgettable experience! A fabulous adventure. Our host Elliot worked really hard to ensure we were all safe, well fed , and had the best experience possible in the changeable weather conditions. He was available at all times to help with any queries and is very knowledgeable, he was realistic about what to expect and very considerate when I got a bit overwhelmed as I was well out of my comfort zone at times! The equipment provided was of a high standard, and the food Elliot presented us with was delicious and varied , catering for several different dietary requirements, with some luxurious surprises and fresh brewed coffee at breakfast and plenty of snacks. We left no trace and all our waste was removed for recycling, I was amazed how little there was for a big group for a few days! The company was great and we made memories to last a lifetime. I can’t thank Elliot enough for coordinating it all , he has a lovely calm manner and despite some terrible jokes he was really good fun. Five stars!!

We did the Highland Games activity. Our group ranged in ages from 4 to 75 and Malky did an amazing job guiding us through the activities in a safe and fun way.

This excellently equipped rental shop is located just a short walk from the center of Aviemore, right on the cycling trails, so you can just hop on your bike and head straight out onto the perfect routes nearby. A huge advantage is their opening hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which means a full-day rental truly gives you a full day. For comparison, the other rental shop in Aviemore is only open from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, which is quite short.​The staff is very friendly and welcoming; they happily went over the routes with us, fitted our own pedals, and handed over the bike in perfect technical condition. Another big plus is their ample stock and wide selection, including smaller sizes like S and XS. Strongly recommend 👍

We had a brilliant experience with the team at IYE (Aviemore) last weekend whilst completing a charity event with a team from work. Special shout out to Andy and Chris who were absolutely amazing across the 2 day event which included mountain biking on the Burma Road route and a day of canyoning. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, everything was brilliantly organised, professionally delivered, and full of adventure. A very special mention has to go to Lianne, who truly made the trip. Her knowledge, professionalism, calm confidence, and brilliant sense of fun brought the whole experience to life. She created an environment where everyone felt safe, supported, and able to enjoy the challenge, while still keeping the spirit of adventure at the heart of it all. The food was incredible throughout — far better than we ever expected on a canoe expedition — and it made such a difference at the end of each day. What really stood out was the way Lianne supported Alex. She made sure he was always safe and looked after, but also gave him the confidence and encouragement to push right to the edge of his limits. That balance of care, challenge, and belief was exceptional, and it meant so much to us. It was a truly memorable trip, full of great moments, beautiful scenery, laughter, and adventure. We came away feeling challenged, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the experience.

We were there yesterday with 2 teenage grandsons visiting from USA and 2 granddaughters, 11 & 9They all loved it! The younger girls were far better than their older 6’ + cousins🤣Granted, they had done it before at home in England!What a brilliant idea, clambering and sliding through trees and on zip wires!The 2 staff members, Ben and Ewan were excellent, making it a real fun thing to do, even though the 9 year old was a bit nervous, she flew around the course!The young man Ewan had the right temperament for that job, chatty, fun and helpful. Great day out, my grandsons said it was the highlight of their Scottish trip . Definitely recommend it.

We booked In Your Element highland games activity as a surprise for our guest at our wedding in Scotland. This was a mixture of family and friend and everyone had an amazing time. It was pitched just at the right ability. Everyone could get involved, different weights etc. Anyone who wanted to step out of an activity was able to with no issues and it truly was a great couple of hours to bring everyone together. The staff running this were great as well, really clear instructions and happy to have a laugh with us. Thank you again - Tom & Zoe

I went to TreeZone Aviemore with my wife and nine year old daughter and they both loved it. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly especially James who came to the rescue a few times. We’ve been to a few Go Ape style tree courses before but this seemed to be one of the biggest and the best. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended, hired bikes for half day. Bikes were all in decent condition. Kind, helpful and knowledgeable team at IYE. Great routes, if you have time full day hire would be a good idea. They were sold out in the day we hired, so booking in advance is advised. Thank you team!

Duncan was an absolutely incredible instructor. He payed close attention to all safety matters, but still allowed us to find our way and have some fun at every opportunity. He was incredibly knowledgable of the surrounding area and river, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible.

West Coast Scotland Kayak/wild camping adventure We did the west coast of Scotland kayak and wild camping aventure in May., having booked thought MBA. We were pretty lucky with the weather, not freezing and even got some sun. The whole tour was really well organised from start to finish. Our instructor Elliot made sure we were safe at all times, attended to the needs of each group member and is an excellent cook! We were given dry bags for all our kit...half of our kayak storage space was for personal use and the other half for the group's food and cooking equipment. I would recommend taking some of yóur own smaller 2-5 litre dry bags to put snacks and smaller ítems into as they can fit in the gaps between yóur larger dry bags and it also makes it easier to organise yóur kit in the tent. All in all a great experience..I would definitely book another aventure wiith In Your Element./MBA. Thanks again to Elliot for making our holiday so enjoyable!

An unforgettable first canoe experience on Loch Beinn a mheadhoin Writing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely fantastic canoe experience on Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhoin! As complete novices, we were a little apprehensive to begin with, but our guides, Stu and Jamie, were incredible from start to finish. They were so patient and reassuring, taking the time to help us build confidence on the water, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Their knowledge of the local environment and wildlife really brought the whole experience to life – we learned so much while taking in the stunning surroundings. The loch itself is breathtaking, and exploring it by canoe made it even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Glen Affric. Highly recommend this experience to anyone, especially beginners – you’ll be in very safe and capable hands!

We had a fantastic day out at tree zone today. So much fun and so many laughs! Andy was absolutely brilliant, couldn’t have got a nicer, friendlier guy who kept us right with clear instructions and encouragement with our family. We all loved him. Great fun at Treezone Aviemore I was persuaded to do the course by my 12 year old daughter and it was far more enjoyable than I expected. The staff were all so upbeat and friendly, and it was good to know they were keeping an eye on me (especially when I fell off). The course was more demanding than I had anticipated, but finished with a fun zip wire. I cannot recommend this enough and will definitely do it again.

Excellent activity , the course was longer than expected. The staff were excellent & very friendly. My daughter didn’t want a coat or gloves but half way round decided to give up because she was so cold . The instructors were very helpful for her and brought her back down talking to her all the time . Would definitely go again . Thankyou
