This excellently equipped rental shop is located just a short walk from the center of Aviemore, right on the cycling trails, so you can just hop on your bike and head straight out onto the perfect routes nearby. A huge advantage is their opening hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which means a full-day rental truly gives you a full day. For comparison, the other rental shop in Aviemore is only open from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, which is quite short.​The staff is very friendly and welcoming; they happily went over the routes with us, fitted our own pedals, and handed over the bike in perfect technical condition. Another big plus is their ample stock and wide selection, including smaller sizes like S and XS. Strongly recommend 👍

We had a brilliant experience with the team at IYE (Aviemore) last weekend whilst completing a charity event with a team from work. Special shout out to Andy and Chris who were absolutely amazing across the 2 day event which included mountain biking on the Burma Road route and a day of canyoning. Highly recommend.

Challenging MND Great Glen Canoe Challenge We had an absolutely incredible Great Glen canoe trip and cannot recommend the experience highly enough. From start to finish, everything was brilliantly organised, professionally delivered, and full of adventure. A very special mention has to go to Lianne, who truly made the trip. Her knowledge, professionalism, calm confidence, and brilliant sense of fun brought the whole experience to life. She created an environment where everyone felt safe, supported, and able to enjoy the challenge, while still keeping the spirit of adventure at the heart of it all. The food was incredible throughout — far better than we ever expected on a canoe expedition — and it made such a difference at the end of each day. What really stood out was the way Lianne supported Alex. She made sure he was always safe and looked after, but also gave him the confidence and encouragement to push right to the edge of his limits. That balance of care, challenge, and belief was exceptional, and it meant so much to us. It was a truly memorable trip, full of great moments, beautiful scenery, laughter, and adventure. We came away feeling challenged, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the experience.

We were there yesterday with 2 teenage grandsons visiting from USA and 2 granddaughters, 11 & 9They all loved it! The younger girls were far better than their older 6’ + cousins🤣Granted, they had done it before at home in England!What a brilliant idea, clambering and sliding through trees and on zip wires!The 2 staff members, Ben and Ewan were excellent, making it a real fun thing to do, even though the 9 year old was a bit nervous, she flew around the course!The young man Ewan had the right temperament for that job, chatty, fun and helpful. Great day out, my grandsons said it was the highlight of their Scottish trip . Definitely recommend it.

Visit to Go Wild This was an excellent experience! My son needed some extra reassurance which the team were happy to give and quickly built up a good relationship with him. He was really confident and completed both courses! Thanks again to Morven and the team!

We booked In Your Element highland games activity as a surprise for our guest at our wedding in Scotland. This was a mixture of family and friend and everyone had an amazing time. It was pitched just at the right ability. Everyone could get involved, different weights etc. Anyone who wanted to step out of an activity was able to with no issues and it truly was a great couple of hours to bring everyone together. I went to TreeZone Aviemore with my wife and nine year old daughter and they both loved it. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly especially James who came to the rescue a few times. We’ve been to a few Go Ape style tree courses before but this seemed to be one of the biggest and the best. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended, hired bikes for half day. Bikes were all in decent condition. Kind, helpful and knowledgeable team at IYE. Great routes, if you have time full day hire would be a good idea. They were sold out in the day we hired, so booking in advance is advised. Thank you team!

Duncan was an absolutely incredible instructor. He payed close attention to all safety matters, but still allowed us to find our way and have some fun at every opportunity. He was incredibly knowledgable of the surrounding area and river, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible.

West Coast Scotland Kayak/wild camping adventure We did the west coast of Scotland kayak and wild camping aventure in May., having booked thought MBA. We were pretty lucky with the weather, not freezing and even got some sun. The whole tour was really well organised from start to finish. Our instructor Elliot made sure we were safe at all times, attended to the needs of each group member and is an excellent cook! We were given dry bags for all our kit...half of our kayak storage space was for personal use and the other half for the group's food and cooking equipment. I would recommend taking some of yóur own smaller 2-5 litre dry bags to put snacks and smaller ítems into as they can fit in the gaps between yóur larger dry bags and it also makes it easier to organise yóur kit in the tent. All in all a great experience..I would definitely book another aventure wiith In Your Element./MBA. Thanks again to Elliot for making our holiday so enjoyable!

An unforgettable first canoe experience on Loch Beinn a mheadhoin Writing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely fantastic canoe experience on Loch Beinn a’ Mheadhoin! As complete novices, we were a little apprehensive to begin with, but our guides, Stu and Jamie, were incredible from start to finish. They were so patient and reassuring, taking the time to help us build confidence on the water, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Their knowledge of the local environment and wildlife really brought the whole experience to life – we learned so much while taking in the stunning surroundings. The loch itself is breathtaking, and exploring it by canoe made it even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Glen Affric. Highly recommend this experience to anyone, especially beginners – you’ll be in very safe and capable hands!

We did archery and axe throwing. Our host was great crack and we finely tuned are skills. We will be back at some point for sure.

We had a fantastic day out at tree zone today. So much fun and so many laughs! Andy was absolutely brilliant, couldn’t have got a nicer, friendlier guy who kept us right with clear instructions and encouragement with our family. We all loved him. Great fun at Treezone Aviemore I was persuaded to do the course by my 12 year old daughter and it was far more enjoyable than I expected. The staff were all so upbeat and friendly, and it was good to know they were keeping an eye on me (especially when I fell off). The course was more demanding than I had anticipated, but finished with a fun zip wire. I cannot recommend this enough and will definitely do it again.

Excellent activity , the course was longer than expected. The staff were excellent & very friendly. My daughter didn’t want a coat or gloves but half way round decided to give up because she was so cold . The instructors were very helpful for her and brought her back down talking to her all the time . Would definitely go again . Thankyou

My friends and I went on a day where there were no other visitors, so it felt like a VIP experience. The staff were extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. They ensured our safety while allowing us to enjoy our time there. The obstacles were fun and challenging as well. Would highly recommend!

Having just completed a 4 Day canoe expedition down the Great Glen with In Your Element, I can most definitely recommend it. Good company, well organised trip, really experienced and friendly guide in Stewart Harris. We were really lucky with the weather which obviously helped and you can't guarantee dry sunny weather, but nevertheless a solid outfit to choose if you're thinking of doing something similar in the Highlands!

Great canoeing adventure for those looking to explore Loch Ness! Fantastic and fun experience all around!James and George (I hope I’m remembering their names correctly a few days after!!) were excellent guides and made the entire experience fun and effortless. We canoed all around Port Augustus, checking out Cherry Island, the unexplored coasts, and enjoying a quick break by a waterfall with shortbread and tea! Highly recommend this adventure to beginners and intermediate water sports adventurers if you’re looking to do more than cruise Loch Ness!

Excellent facility. Staff were absolutely wonderful. My youngest got herself a bit frightened and the instructors Greg and Dan were so friendly and helpful. Dan even scaled the course and coaxed her across the trickier obstacles to the big zip wire finish. He was very patient and very knowledgeable!My eldest was also rescued by Dan when she fell off and got herself in a bit of a fankle with the ropes. Such a rewarding, fun, and exciting but very very safe experience! Thanks you guys!!

Really good service from these guys. I hired a Marin eMTB, which was in good condition. Competitive pricing, so all in all a great package. I highly recommend them.

We are a family of four (kids aged 12 and 10) and hired their bikes twice during our stay. The bikes are perfect - in really good condition and high quality. And the local rides are so good too - all off-road, not too hilly, through pine forest and around local lochs. Very easy to navigate as signed posted all the way. Highly recommend the bike hire for an excellent family day out. The staff are really friendly too.

Amazing afternoon, it was me, my hubby and 8yr old son. All staff were amazing but a special shout out to Gregg for getting me round course in one piece. We did the Gorge Walking at Loch Lomond and Trossachs and absolutely loved it! Aaron was a really good guide, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The activity itself was exciting and each part was different. We want to do it again!

I took my son and 5 of his mates up to Scotland for a weekend from Somerset. The lads were all aged between 18 and 21. Our primary objective was to ascend Ben Nevis on the Saturday. Our flight home from Glasgow to Bristol wasn't until late on the Sunday evening so I was looking for something exciting to do with the lads on the Sunday. I found the gorge walk on google and it looked to fit the bill so I booked it. We were very lucky with the weather which was warm and sunny. Unusual for early April. We were welcomed by Aaron who gave us the kit we needed and did the usual safety brief etc. He had a great way with the lads and we headed off to do the experience. Once over the initial shock of the cold water we went from jump to jump with demonstration by Aaron. Each jump got higher and the approach through the river was tricky underfoot. Aaron helped here with advice on technique to give sure-footedness. When we hit the high jumps I could feel the level of excitement grow amongst the lads and the last 2 jumps were fantastic. We all made it but I have to say, for me personally, the last couple of jumps took some courage! Overall it was a great experience and big thanks to Aaron. The lads were buzzing on the way back to the airport.

The best time!! Came for my hen party and we had the best time at Tree Zone!! It really was a challenge and I'm so proud of my family and friends for all getting round the challenging course! It's not for the faint of heart. I have to give an extra special shout out to the staff in particular Charlie. He helped us round, we had a laugh with him but he was also super supportive, coming up if we needed help and encouraging us from the ground. We will definitely be back!!

Couples? Families? Friends? Even Solo! It’s Lots Of Fun! We have been up to Aviemore a couple of times! It is definitely one of our favourite places to go. Before going up this time we searched for some activities to do whilst in the area! And we saw the tree trekking!We booked on and turned up! There was free parking over the road so there was not problem with that! The staff were extremely friendly and fun! We had a good laugh with them! The trekking itself was great! I found it quite a challenge even though I have done this stuff before! I really liked this trek it was lots of fun and I would definitely do it again!

Excellent experience! An excellent visit to TreeZone today. 4 out of 5 of the children in our family group were confident on the course, one however was very scared when she got up there. The instructors couldn’t have been more helpful. Dan helped my youngest all the way round making sure she felt safe and secure at all times. Because of his patience, she came away feeling happy and proud of herself. We couldn’t have asked for more…they went the extra mile to make sure the children had a great time. Thank you so much for your professionalism and friendly nature…it made our day better than we had hoped. Thoroughly recommend!

Great family fun Had a great time with family. Suitable for all ages and abilities (providing they meet height requirements). My son was confident and was left to get round happily. My daughter was more nervous but the staff were really attentive and helpful making it a fun experience for her. Would definitely recommend.

Great TreeZone experience! The instructor, Scott, was really friendly and clearly explained the safety aspects and how it all worked clearly. He was close by on the ground to give any help and guidance as needed, as well as chatting. We were lucky to get the whole place to ourselves for our round of the course. Gloves are definitely needed, but don't overdress as you do get warm. Took us about 75 minutes to complete the course.

Hired 4 bikes for half a day for our family, great range of bikes extremely helpful staff who helped us planning our route. Would highly recommend them, they are in a great location to some great trails.

Stunning ride with really friendly service Our family group all really enjoyed our ride to Loch an Eilein this afternoon. Andy and colleague were really friendly and enthusiastic. They gave us a lovely welcome and already had our bikes prepared. They also gave us good advice on routes. The ride through Rothiemurchus was absolutely stunning and the very quick dip in the loch in the last of the afternoon sun was the icing on the cake. Will definitely return.

Highly Recommend TreeZone This was our first time at TreeZone and we would highly recommend it. The staff were amazing, they made you feel safe and confident and were on hand if you needed them. Both tree courses were brilliant. Our children wanted to complete them again. We had so much fun and will definitely return.

Challenging courses Me and my nine year old son did both of the courses. It's the most challenging of similar treetop obstacle courses that we've done. Our favourite was ziplining into the cargo net! This course is a great challenge for all ages - we will definitely visit again!

Excellent experience at treezone Aviemore this morning. The staff were so friendly and helpful. My daughter who was very keen to participate had a really challenging time once she was up on the course but Greg was quick to respond and supported her the rest of the way through so she could still come away feeling proud of herself. There was no rushing, only positive encouragement the entire time. Fin another staff, came to support the rest of the group and added fun and enthusiasm to make the whole experience fantastic. Brilliant trails, well-organised bike hire Booked online the night before when the weather looked OK. Bikes were all set aside for us when we arrived and staff really friendly. Trails are great - loads to explore, and we managed to do over 10 miles for the first time as a family. My daughter (7) had her own bike, and although struggled up some of the hills, said the downhill bits more than made up for it! My son (5) went on a tagalong for the first time and absolutely loved it! I will never forget the sound of his squeals of delight going down the hills.

A great time for all ages Visited today with my partner and 13 year old daughter. Ben was a great instructor. We ended up being out ourselves just with Ben. It is great how it is set up to build up your confidence all the way through. We finished in about an hour and 15 mins which was perfect with the last zip wire being amazing. Would definitely go again.
