Looking for Some Inspiration?

Airtanker, based at RAF Brize Norton, got in touch looking for ideas for a team-based challenge with a difference.  Not anything they had done before, and somewhere off the beaten track, so that the remote location became part of the challenge.  They wanted the programme to really push their staff. So, we came up with a 5-day adventure, that incorporated team-based challenges (with real incentives to succeed), at various stages of the programme. 

Having collected the group of 12 in Inverness, they were transported to Elphin in the Inverpolly Geopark.  After packing and prepping their expedition kit, they departed into the wild with our guides, with little or no contact with civilisation for the next 5 days.  To keep the challenges interesting, we even incentivised some of the challenges with extra food for dinner, and even a bottle of port for the final evening!

A Wilderness Challenge: 5-day Canoe-based camping expedition, including team challenges in the Assynt/ Inverpolly Geopark

This was a trip arranged for the Adventure Training team from AirTanker. It was a wild camping trip in the remote area of Scottish Highlands. A group of 12 people who barely knew each other beforehand went completely off the grid for 5 days with no network signal, relying on only the water from lochs and springs, and the food supplies they were carrying with them. Overall the trip was amazing and tailored to our requirements – wild, challenging, and fun! From the start to the finish we were provided with everything we needed – overalls, boots, camping equipment, canoes, food. The guides were brilliant and enthusiastic. Thank you “In your Element Team” for looking after us so well. Everyone in the group loved the experience.
